Oh so Natural !

When I was young my mum and I used to dye wool with natural dyes made from onion skins, bark and nettles. We would then weave little tapestries on blocks of wood.
Id completely forgotten about this until I was looking into ways of dying Tibetan lambskin for my little ladies. I wanted a nice blonde, I had tried hair dye and acid dye but both gave a grey like colour and seemed quite chemically.
Then……….TEA! Of course. Two bags of Yorkshire teas finest and voila! Blonde Tibetan locks.

I came across this chart from http://www.collectiveindv.blogspot.com.au. ( well worth swinging by its a great little site)

Dyes can be purchased here http://www.tablerockllamas.com/store.html if you don’t want to make your own
